Our client’s are often considering purchasing their own trailer before they come to us for a rental. There are many reasons we will review as to why renting is often more advantageous than buying one for your evolving needs; whether it be for your businesses short or long term needs, or simply to get a DIY project done at home.

Here are some of the key advantages of renting a commercial trailer:

  1. Lower upfront costs: Renting a commercial trailer typically requires a lower upfront cost than buying one. When you rent a trailer, you do not need to make a large initial investment, which can be beneficial if you are working with a limited budget.
  2. Flexible rental terms: Renting a commercial trailer gives you the flexibility to choose rental terms that suit your needs. For example, you may only need the trailer for a short period of time, or you may want to rent different types of trailers for different projects. Renting allows you to adjust your trailer needs as your business needs change.
  3. No maintenance or repair costs: When you rent a commercial trailer, the rental company is responsible for maintenance and repairs. This can save you significant time and money, as you do not need to worry about the costs and logistics of maintaining and repairing the trailer. However, please note that our long term renters are responsible for regular maintenance and all client’s are responsible for damage above and beyond regular wear and tear.
  4. Access to specialized equipment: Renting a commercial trailer can give you access to specialized equipment that you may not want to purchase outright. For example, you may need a hydraulic dump trailer for a specific project, but do not want to invest in one long-term. Renting allows you to access specialized equipment as needed without committing to a long-term investment.
  5. Ability to test different trailer types: Renting a commercial trailer gives you the ability to test different types of trailers before making a long-term investment. This can help you determine which type of trailer best meets your needs and can save you money in the long run by preventing you from investing in the wrong trailer.
